The audience continue to discuss which actors could make appearances. Missy states she would need to see people read for the parts, because she doens't watch a lot of TV, and doesn't know all the characters mentioned.
TRANSCRIPT:
Moderator: Stacey says: "Ok, not even for Dar &
Kerry, but the other characters. :)"
Moderator: Breen says: "lol"
LADYHAWKE: wanna dance
Missy Good: (g)
Missy Good: I havetn' really thought about it..
Missy Good: mostly because I don't watch enough current tv and
moives..
Missy Good: to know who is who.
LADYHAWKE: she scares me when she says that
Missy Good: you know it's true.
LADYHAWKE: i know
Missy Good: I want you to cast Steve Irwin, Debby.
Missy Good: and his Croc.
LADYHAWKE: its the only person she knows believe me
Missy Good: and the guy from the History Channel that played
Lincoln.
Missy Good: you know.
Moderator: Breen says: "How about Gillian for all the
parts"
Moderator: Xenamour says: "Missy, as Dar or as Kerry? Steve
I mean?"
LADYHAWKE: ahhh yeah ... "the guy"
Missy Good: (g)
LADYHAWKE: i see him as colleen
Moderator: FreeLoveKitten says: "<keeping
quiet...shhh>"
Missy Good: seriously - I'd have to see people read for the parts
before I'd have an opinion on them.
Missy Good: just puling names from a hat doesn't mean much to me.
Missy Good: also..
LADYHAWKE: which in a way i love...because
Missy Good: yo unever know when someone will be good for a part,
based on stuff they did before.
Missy Good: they could be totally different given a different
part.
LADYHAWKE: you go totally on your instincts and this is a good
thing
Moderator: be patient Xenamour, yours is next
LADYHAWKE: missy carries no actor bagage when casting which will
be good
It's explained to people that Missy is not only the writer, she's also a producer. (Not a lot of people know that, lol.)
TRANSCRIPT:
Moderator: Xenamour says: "Is Missy playing a heavier
roll in casting decisions than is typical of the head writer...
or is this generally the case?"
Missy Good: no - that's true.
LADYHAWKE: missy is my offical partner in crime in this event ..
she is one of the producers
Missy Good: I'll know when someone is, or isin't what I pictured
when I wrote the part.
LADYHAWKE: she will head up the writing team ...but
Moderator: Xenamour says: "Ahhhhhhhh! "
Missy Good: I'll also be in charge of wiring the offices.
LADYHAWKE: will also have a say in the casting ...
Moderator: Breen says: "lol Missy"
We already know Missy will be a footstool, but the subject arises again. She is already typecast.
TRANSCRIPT:
Missy Good: wait till you see what Im goign to pipe into
Debby's office.
LADYHAWKE: and eventually the director duties
LADYHAWKE: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
LADYHAWKE: there will be NO place to hide darlin'
Moderator: SnuggleGrrl says: "and she will be playing the
official foot stool! "
Missy Good: Head Writer/Network Administrator - worlds weirdest
production credit.
LADYHAWKE: no footstool ever
Missy is asked if it's easier to do the writing for TV, or for the movie. Missy explains that TV is easier,........
TRANSCRIPT:
Moderator: CPT Skip says: "How far are you going to turn
down the technotalk in the scripts, Missy?"
LADYHAWKE: cable but no footstool
Missy Good: I'm not - but I'll try to make it intelligible.
LADYHAWKE: can you say writing only!!!!!
Moderator: Xenamour says: "Change computer to
"footstool""
Missy Good: (g)
LADYHAWKE: tech can be very exciting
Moderator: Alcatraz says: "Missy, was it easier or harder to
adapt to television than it was to film?"
Missy Good: ten thousand times easier.
LADYHAWKE: when its story driven
Missy Good: for tv.
Missy Good: I was never comfortable trying to fit that story into
120 minutes.
.....and continues to explain why.
TRANSCRIPT:
Moderator: MamaZeus says: "why is it easier MG?"
Missy Good: You have time for character development.
LADYHAWKE: boy ....no kidding
Moderator: CPT Skip says: "Still no car chases, right?"
Missy Good: I can spread out the same timeline of the movie..
over 15 eps.
Missy Good: two hours, versus 15.
LADYHAWKE: considering she has written 100's of D&K
words....series is a better shot
LADYHAWKE: 1000000'a
LADYHAWKE: damn ...10000000000's
Missy Good: I like the television format.
LADYHAWKE: me too ... i thrive on it
Moderator: Xenamour says: "OMG... she's gonna have us
drooling through withdrawls waiting for the next week's episode
just like she does on line with the updates "
Moderator: FrenchRose says: "Will you follow the story lines
of Huricane Watch and the other sequels ?"
LADYHAWKE: yes...what is great is that TS is alwys in a new state
Missy Good: I will use sections of them for eps, sure.
Missy Good: but not follow a rigid timeline.
Moderator: MamaZeus says: "what different besides the time
length between TV and Film?"
Missy Good: We want to do the router thing in NC, for instance.
Missy Good: it's just much easier to write when you're not trying
to cram too much story into too little time.
