Using her woman's prerogative, MamaZeus cuts it fine. She needs to give the rings to Tessa before the wedding, so this is done at the gate while Del is inside in the lockable room. Tessa has trouble getting to the gate quickly as her dress is difficult to run in.
Inside, people gather and wait. It is now past the official starting time, but as usual in the Palace nobody really expects it to start on time. BSquared recalls how the officiant was late for her RL marriage. (Ignore that poem from Gabby's Footrot.)
